Sheriff Schneider started with the sheriff's office in 1995 as a jailer. He was hired as a Deputy Sheriff in 1998 and graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy the same year. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2002. Jared was elected Sheriff and began his term in 2017.
Jared enjoys spending his free time with friends and family.
