Today Washington County will reopen 290^th Street east of Larch Avenue that was closed for a Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert replacement project. The project consisted of removing and replacing the deteriorating existing RCB culvert and re-grading the road for approximately 250’ on both sides of the culvert to correct the slopes and improve drainage.  Iowa Bridge and Culvert, L.C. of Washington, Iowa completed the work.  Local construction dollars were used to pay for the project.  To view the official press release please follow the link below.
